The Small Business Institute Consulting Program
The Small Business Institute consulting program is offered to graduate students enrolled in MAN 5867 Small Business Consulting, offered by the College of Business Administration. The purpose of this program is to provide high-quality business assistance to companies in need while providing an extraordinary opportunity for business students to learn through field case studies. The program not only supports UCF’s goal of partnering with the local community, it also provides free professional assistance to small businesses that would not otherwise be able to afford consulting services.
Three UCF College of Business Administration graduate students placed first in the Graduate Specialized Category of the 2010 Project of the Year National Competition sponsored by the Small Business Institute® (SBI). MBA students Tammra Baron, Rayan Kaissi and Lindsay Tompkins were named first place winners for their team's business consulting project.
