UCF’s CEI was built to provide UCF students, faculty, and staff with a community center that fosters professional growth, empowerment, and the pursuit of opportunity. Located in room 135 of the UCF College of Business Administration, the CEI offers facilities, tools, and connections to meet the needs of UCF’s vibrant student and research community.

Expert Advice

In addition to the web-based tools, templates, and research resources listed here, we offer access to the region’s best advisors. The CEI offers professional business advising from experienced counselors from the UCF SBDC, UCF Venture Lab and the Orlando chapter of SCORE in our “Coaches’ Corner” facility.

Partnerships

The CEI’s partnerships, resources, and facilities have been built to enrich the educational and economic ecosystem of Central Florida. Our efforts are closely integrated with those of our collaborators at UCF and in our community. These partnerships have gained national attention. Entrepreneur Magazine recently touted Orlando as being “one of the most highly coordinated entrepreneurial engines in the country” and credits this success to our region’s “intergovernmental and private sector’s ability to cooperate and sidestep development turf wars that often hobble other metro areas.” As a result of these efforts the CEI faculty and staff are also familiar with the missions, resources and capabilities of other helpful agencies on and off campus and can quickly direct you to the best support available in our region. Thus, the CEI is a great place to start to find the help you need to develop your inventive ideas.
